Dim Sparkle ~Prologue~

Raeth is a beautiful planet that  located far away from the Earth. The air of Raeth which similar to earth and haven’t been polluted causing human (and even mythical creatures that we usually heard in the bedtime stories) can live on that big planet. It’s a place where the greatest adventures begin.


~ Prologue ~ 

Long time ago, before life exist, there was a fragment of light and the total darkness. The light was small and dim, but the darkness really disturbed by it.Darkness realize that there is great power hidden behind the light. He ever tried to eliminate his little companion, but everytimes he tried to light was getting bigger and brighter, so the darkness gave up and decide to live along with the light.

Hundreds of years passed, darkness and light was still alive side by side, but their form has changed. Light has the form of a beautiful angel whose size is much bigger than a human, she has a pair of large white wings that make her look very divine. She has a pair of calm and beautiful black eyes. Her whole body even the dress she wore, is white and sparkling. Her white hair was radiate a divine but friendly glow. She named herself Light. 

While the Darkness, the darkness, took a form of a handsome black-winged angel. All of his clothing and weapon is black, dark aura surrounded his whole body. His hair was short and dark like the night sky without the sparkling stars. But strangely Darkness body is white and clean as Light’s. 

After they have their own form, Light and Darkness agreed to fill the empty world with the power given by something (or someone) that they called "The Divine One". Light created the stars, Darkness created the planet. They joined forces to create living things, and decorate the surface of the planet. Life is very secure and balanced, human ruled the cities, the elves and fairy ruled forest, dwarfs lived in caves, and various other creatures spread across the surface of the planet called Raeth. 

That total calm lasted for decades, until one day Darkness realized. He saw that the light causes shadows, and shadows caused darkness. He realized that the Light has a greater strength than him and intended to eliminate the Light again. Light was aware of this, and trying to calm the Darkness, but then Darkness formed armies to fight Light. The great war is unavoidable, many lives had been sacrificed.

Light that does not want to see bloodshed anymore decided to give up to the Darkness. But before that she summoned the four basic elements to keep the stability of Raeth. Fire which gave warmth, Water which gave life, Wind which blew away evil desire, and Earth which gave protection. They are the four pillars Raeth or often called The Pillars of Raeth. 

After that, Light went to see Darkness with a hope that Darkness would agree to stop the war. But of course the Darkness attacked and stabbed Light with his sword, Light did not fight back at all, she knew it would be useless. Once the black sword body go through Light’s body, Light and Darkness slowly transformed into their original form, fragments of light and darkness. The fragments were scattered throughout the planet, like the sea of fireflies. The soldiers who are fighting suddenly stopped, it was like something prevented them to fight. Rain fell for days, remove the traces of bloodshed. The Pillars of Raeth was sealed and spread across the planet, until a thousand years later something will awaken them.
